CABJ Achievements Helping students connect with community leaders We are especially proud of our
work done with high school students, connecting them with local community
leaders, giving them valuable, real life experience. Through workshops, banquets and
service events, we have been able to give our young people an insight and
opportunity to better themselves. ·

Region VI Convention Numerous Community Service Events The Columbus Association of
Black Journalists supports a number of charities. They include: The I KNOW I
CAN newspaper sale, UNCF/The College Fund, Christmas for the Children, Toys
for Tots, and other community organizations. Student Scholarships The association provides
scholarships and/or book grants for deserving students. These are given out
